On a completely unrelated note, I’ve been looking for some headphones to replace my Altec Lansing AHS-502s. So I’m going to do a quick write-up on my Koss-KSC75s, which many claim to be the best sub-$100 headphones you can buy. I’ll also do a write-up on my soon-to-be Sennheiser HD201s, which are meant to be decent for the price. But if I don’t like them, then I guess I’d be willing to plump up for a pair of AD300s or A500s (I’m not looking for brilliant quality, I’m just looking for something to listen to when I can’t listen to these). I would have gone the way of the Beyerdynamic DT231PROs, but the only problem is that they’re supraaural rather than circumaural (they sit on my ears rather than around them…it’s a bitch on my ears, especially with glasses).
