I’m kind of undecided about the Senny HD201s. At first, they sounded a bit off, as if one thing was traded off for another. But now I give the EQ a slight bass boost, and now they sound half decent. The pleather is also hella hot, not to mention the whole closed thing. They don’t isolate as well as I thought, either.
I’ve still got about 18 days to go before I can return them and consider alternatives (DT231pros, Allesandro MS-1s or AD400s), but for now I gotta get some friggin’ sleep so I can make this 9am tomorrow…
