Horror gaming

As mentioned earlier, I tapped this one out while poking around upstairs for ideas. It could probably do with a better title, but it’s the Internet and freedom of information is all the rage at the moment.

If you want to read up on what I think are critical elements in horror games, hit the previous link or mosey on over to the articles page.

Expect to see more reviews coming up as well…

working hard / hardly working

I haven’t been talking about work lately (who would?) but I decided to make a mention of it since…we’re not really doing work at work. Stay with me here.

It was a little hectic previously but it’s all settled down a bit now. In fact we’re celebrating the completion of our assigned work, which usually translates into much free food and drink. I never thought I’d actually appreciate VB until a couple of days ago. My excuse is that it was hot, we were outdoors and it was either that or Carlton Black (which, again, isn’t too bad).

Today was a bit of the same - pop into work, do some cases, work on a defect, duck out to kick the soccer ball around, eat complimentary ice-cream, go to bar with tab and get toasted, go to second bar and talk by shouting.

Come back home, play skate. demo, and contemplate the coming 12 months. Yah, it’s a hard life.

Oh, and the poor bargirl forgot to add one of our orders onto the tab. But psshh. What’s $30 to them?
