Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly (Director’s Cut)

I borrowed a few Xbox games off jt a while ago, and when he came over for a visit he forgot to pick them up.

So, for a bit of a laugh, I decided to put in Project Zero 2, seeing as how I had such a good experience with it last time slightly tipsy and deprived of sleep.

I’ll never understand what possesses two teenage girls (yar har har) to go into a haunted village in the thick of night, going from house to house taking photos of ghosts. And they’re not friendly Casper type ghosts, either. They’re the "I died a terrible terrible death and I’m hanging around to freak the shit out of you" ghosts. They’re the "I was horribly disfigured and mutilated in my previous life and I thought it was such a good look I wanted to take it with me to the afterlife" ghosts.

After a while, you do kinda get used to them appearing out of nowhere, and it’s not all that scary when they try and grab you after the first few goes. But the whole package - the sounds, the presentation, the grainy cutscenes - it does all get pretty disturbing.

Not that I was scared or anything. <___<

Cutover is now starting. 8am tomorrow to 6pm, which isn’t too bad. However, it probably means that I’ll have to come in on Sunday as well to manage failed orders.

*sigh*…better get some sleep.
