Oohh, more stuff! (It’s only because I found some of these quite interesting that I had to share them):
- Who loves Ace Combat? Here are some videos of the latest iteration, and here are some screenshots. Lookin’ good, lookin’ good.
- Speaking of screenshots, I saw the Nintendo titles Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Dementia: The Ward. Must remember to get the right title for the kiddies.
- Who loves Link? There’s going to be a title called Link’s Crossbow Training on the Wii. Casual gamers, rejoice!
- Those new PS3 SKUs are making a pretty penny for Sony, according to gamesindustry.biz.
- There are more kids playing games than there were one year ago. It seems that they’re more into the casual games nowadays. I got by on Funnels and Buckets, Space Invaders, a cheap Snake-knockoff called Centipede, Dig-dug, Firehawk and then progressed to the realm of hyperviolence thanks to Mortal Kombat, Wolf 3D and Doom. And I turned out just fine.
- Jesper Kyd of Hitman fame (and one of my favourite video game composers) is composing the music for Assassin’s Creed. Sweet.
