I was lurking on the PA forums about half an hour ago and came across a thread on someone modifying a Nerf Maverick by removing the restraints on the barrel. I can’t quite make out what was done exactly, but using the words "remove" and "restraint" in the same sentence paves the way for ingenuity.

A bit more searching revealed that there is indeed a market for toys that fire foam projectiles, or any kind of projectile really.

The sniper rifle looks quite impressive, as well as the aforementioned six shooter. Although, I was expecting more out of a gun with a name like "Buzzsaw" - I immediately thought of Gears of War and how much fun I’d have cutting through my opponents with the attached rotary saw when I’ve run out of ammunition.

But what really takes the cake in my books is the upcoming component Nerf rifle with detachable laser / light and adjustable sights.

Jeez. The right to bear arms, indeed.
