  • Anandtech review the latest 360 CPU iteration. "With the Xbox 360 there’s also another side effect that many surmised would result from a move to 65nm: increased reliability."
  • I noticed that Tycho made a mention of a PSP title called Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command and it happened to fall into his "shit hot" box. IGN begs to differ (some screenshots here for the curious). Never tried it, but I remember Chaos Gate. My God, that was like digesting a broken glass bottle.
  • Speaking of screenshots, here are some screenshots for the upcoming Devil May Cry 4.
  • COD4 has topped Gears of War in the Top 10 Xbox Live titles. I must say, Gears had an extremely good run.
  • Apparently people lack certain social skills on Xbox Live. Yes, believe it or not, girls do exist.
  • If you didn’t already know, Singapore was planning on banning Mass Effect on the grounds that there is the potential for a lesbian sex scene in the game. Now it looks like they’ve taken it back.
  • This is amusing and frightening at the same time: this NY Times article talks about a Korean Internet Addiction Rehab camp. "It has become a national issue here in recent years, as users started dropping dead from exhaustion after playing online games for days on end. A growing number of students have skipped school to stay online, shockingly self-destructive behavior in this intensely competitive society."
