About this blog...

The jaded corporate gamer is a blog that is primarily focused on my gaming experiences and trying to make sense of my full-time job and my all too uncertain future.

Gaming has always been a part of my life - ever since my dad brought home that weird white box with the words "Tandy TL-1000" written on it, I've been stuck into games. I ultimately aspire to become a full-time writer, offering commentary on gaming and the industry, but for now I'll be continuing to find the work / life balance that comes with being a Business IT consultant.

In this blog, you'll find snippets of news that I find interesting, as well as personal reviews on products that I have had the opportunity to use for a while. You'll also find my thoughts on the game industry chain, from concept, to development, to retail, right up to where games end up - in your living room or PC. And in between you'll find posts about me trying to survive in a corporate environment (and maybe how I plan to make my move into greener pastures).

Browse the site, enjoy yourself. If you want to know more about me or have any suggestions, feel free to shoot me an email at [stirlace at optusnet dot com dot au].

Cheers,
-t
